Scholarship Procedure
At DST Group of Institutions, we believe that financial constraints should never be a barrier to quality education. Our scholarship programs are designed to support meritorious, economically disadvantaged, and socially underrepresented students, helping them pursue careers in healthcare with dignity and confidence.
Types of Scholarships Offered
Merit-Based Scholarships
Awarded to students with outstanding academic performance in qualifying examinations.
Need-Based Scholarships
For students from economically weaker sections, based on income criteria.
Government Scholarships
Assistance in applying for state and central government schemes such as Post-Matric Scholarships (SC/ST/OBC/Minority), National Scholarship Portal (NSP) schemes, and Scholarships for Persons with Disabilities (PwD).
Special Scholarships
For wards of defense personnel, single-parent families, or differently-abled students (as per eligibility).
Application Process
Notification
Scholarship opportunities are announced at the beginning of the academic session via notice boards, website updates, and student orientation.
Eligibility Check
Students must review the specific eligibility criteria for each scholarship (academic percentage, income limit, category, etc.).
Document Submission
Applicants must submit: a duly filled scholarship application form, income certificate from a competent authority, caste or category certificate (if applicable), academic mark sheets and certificates, Aadhaar card and bank passbook copy, and any other documents required by the scholarship authority.
Verification and Recommendation
The Scholarship Committee verifies the documents and forwards eligible applications to the concerned authorities or government portals.
Disbursement
Once approved, the scholarship amount is disbursed directly to the student's bank account or adjusted against tuition fees, as per the scheme.
Assistance and Guidance
Our Scholarship Cell provides full support in filling out forms, uploading documents, and tracking application status. Students are encouraged to reach out for help at any stage of the process.
