The Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) is a two-year professional program designed to train students in the essential techniques and procedures of clinical diagnostics.

This course prepares students to work in hospitals, diagnostic labs, research centres, and public health facilities. The candidate will learn Fundamentals of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology, Techniques in haematology, microbiology, biochemistry, and histopathology, Operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, Sample collection, handling, and analysis, Laboratory safety, ethics, and quality control. The Career Opportunities in Graduates of DMLT are qualified to work as: Laboratory Technicians, Pathology Assistants, Phlebotomists, Research Lab Assistants, Diagnostic Lab Coordinators at Government and private hospitals, Diagnostic laboratories and blood banks, Pharmaceutical and biotech companies, public health departments and NGOs.

The Diploma in Medical Radiology Technology (DMRT) is a two-year career-oriented program that trains students in the use of diagnostic imaging technologies such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and ultrasound.

This program prepares students to become skilled radiology technicians capable of assisting in accurate diagnosis and patient care. The Candidate will learn Principles of radiographic imaging and radiation physics, Operation of X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound equipment, Patient positioning, safety, and radiation protection, Image processing, film handling, and quality assurance, Ethical practices and communication in clinical settings. The Career Opportunities in graduation of DMRT can Radiology Technicians, X-ray Technologists, CT/MRI Technicians, Diagnostic Imaging Assistants, Radiology Department Coordinators. Candidate will learn Fundamentals of Nursing, Anatomy, Physiology, and Pharmacology, Medical-Surgical, Paediatric, Psychiatric, and Community Health Nursing, Midwifery and Obstetrical Nursing, First Aid, Nutrition, and Health Education, Ethical practices, patient care, and communication skills. The Career Opportunities Upon successful completion, GNM graduates can work as: Staff Nurses in hospitals and nursing homes, Community Health Workers, School Health Nurses, Midwives and Maternal Health Assistants, Nursing Assistants in government and private healthcare sectors. They are also eligible for: B.Sc. Candidate will Learn the Basics of Nursing and First Aid, Community Health Nursing and Health Promotion, Maternal and Child Health Care, Nutrition, Hygiene, and Environmental Sanitation, Immunization and Family Welfare Services, Health Education and Communication Skills. The Career Opportunities for ANM graduates are Auxiliary Nurse Midwives in sub-centres and primary health centres, Community Health Workers and Health Assistants, Maternal and Child Health Aides, Home-based care providers, Health educators in NGOs and government health missions.
